What should I do after acupuncture?

Intense exercise, coffee and alcohol should be avoided after acupuncture. It is also important to prioritise rest, hydration and nutritious food to relieve inflammation.

How often should I get acupuncture?

It depends on how you respond to the treatment and what your acupuncturist advises, but it's good to get a few appointments in at the beginning to help kick start your healing. Expect possibly once a week for a few weeks before decreasing the frequency.

Does acupuncture hurt?
