Like an adult's hair, this depends on how short you're trying to keep it. Above-the-ear cuts will need more maintenance than long locks - think every eight to 12 weeks rather than a few times a year. Chat to your hairdresser.

A kids cut takes about 30 minutes on average.
When should I get my child a haircut?
That first haircut depends on your child - if they were born bald and beautiful, they may not need a trim until they're two years old. Other bebs can get a cut as early as eight months. However, it's really up to you.
